In one month, the Bubeníček Brothers’ ballet MY VLTAVA will bring the Veltrusy Castle grounds to life — tickets on sale
In just one month, we are looking forward to a special open-air ballet evening, MY VLTAVA, which will take place on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in the grounds of Veltrusy Castle. The ballet performance will offer an unforgettable experience, blending the classical beauty of dance with its modern expression. It was created in collaboration with the world-renowned dancer and choreographer Jiří Bubeníček and prominent soloists from leading ballet companies.
The program will feature, for example, a captivating duet from the ballet The Piano, created for the Royal New Zealand Ballet. Additionally, the audience can look forward to a trio from the ballet Zwischen den Welten, which premiered this spring at the State Ballet of Thuringia.
The highlight of the evening will be the ballet interpretation of three parts of Bedřich Smetana’s Má vlast: Šárka, Tábor, and Vltava. The powerful musical themes combined with artistically crafted movement and scenography within the castle grounds promise a breathtaking finale.
The project has attracted outstanding dancers not only from the National Theatre in Prague but also from ballet companies in Munich, Budapest, Italy, Bulgaria, and other countries. Audiences can look forward to a diverse evening featuring exceptional artists from across Europ
